Sessions are 50-55 minutes in length.
Daytime sessions (9 am – 5 pm) are available, with a limited number of out-of-hours times.

You do not need to have a referral or private health extras cover to make an appointment.

Cancellation

​

What happens if I can’t attend a scheduled appointment? 

​

A: Please contact Manuela if you need to reschedule an appointment. It is appreciated if 48 hours notice can be given. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a non-rebatable cancellation fee of $100 may be charged. If you cancel on the day of your appointment, or do not attend, a non-rebatable fee totalling the service fee will be charged.

Cancellation of an appointment without notice is a loss to three people:

• The client whose therapy progress is interrupted

• Another client who has been waiting for an appointment

• The psychologist who spent time preparing for the session

 

This policy allows the psychologist to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on a waiting list for an appointment. Medicare does not cover cancelled appointments.
